Who We Are

The Arts Council for Wyoming County has been providing arts and cultural programs to a vast rural community for over thirty years. Based in a historic brick storefront in downtown Perry, NY, the Arts Council plays host to a busy calendar of art exhibits, classes, workshops and concerts. Additionally the acclaimed Classic Film Series takes place upstairs every Thursday night in our East Indian Screening Room.

Working in conjunction with the New York State Council on the Arts, the ACWC acts as a conduit in distributing Community Arts Grants to groups and organizations throughout Wyoming County. The recipients in turn provide a unique array of programs and entertainment to the community throughout the year.

The Letchworth Arts & Crafts Show & Sale is the Arts Council's most high profile annual event. This well attended fund raiser takes place every Columbus Day Weekend in Letchworth State Park during the peak of autumn foliage. Tens of thousands of visitors flock to the park to shop the wares of over 300 vendors while enjoying a festive family atmosphere that includes activities, food and entertainment.
